What is your passion?

I have several;
writing, powder skiing, surfing, my twins,
my eldest boy, my wife.

What is your pride?

Looking at life from different angles.

What is your greatest fear?

Staring in the blackness of night at my reflection in the mirror
and seeing something I don't wish to see.

What does adversity do to you?

Allows me to walk the fire to get to the other side.
To grow.

What is your best quality?

Humor

What is your worst quality?

Lack of empathy, but I'm getting better.

What irksome habits do you have?

Provocateur. Silliness. Sloth like speed.

If you could have your time again, what would you do that is different?

Nothing

What would you like to change about yourself?

Less paranoia,

About others?

Make them all vegans.

How important is goal setting to you?

Important.

What goals do you have?

To die when my creative juices have dried up
at the ripe old age of.....
when it's time.

What is your ultimate goal?

To say, to write and hopefully understand
what my unconscious
has to get out.

What inspires you in others?

Passion

What inspires you in yourself?

Passion physical, emotional and psychological

What will be written on your headstone?

I won't have one, my ashes will fly with the wind.

What does success mean to you?

Fulfilled passion

How do you measure success?

In light-years

What are your pet hates?

Slowness, thoughtlessness, sexist pig dogs

What are your pet loves?

Jungian psychology, feminism, traveling

What do you think of pets?

You have them. Can't stand strange dogs,
your dogs any dogs licking
my babies faces.

When are you happiest?

When I'm dancing mentally, emotionally and physically

When are you hardest to please?

When I'm half asleep

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

Do you really want to know this...
well I was working in a particular country in Europe without a permit.
I was working in a bar.

Suddenly comes the not so rare warning,
"Police" for all the illegals to clear out. I rush down stairs to the toilets
and hide in cubical.

Thinking myself safe I sit and wait nervously
(I'd just bought my ski pass and paid three months rent on the chalet..
I had no money left. If the cops caught me they would escort me
to the closest border and I would be bared from entering the country
for 6 long years)

In the quiet of the men's washroom
there suddenly arises the crisp tap of polished boots.
They stop outside my toilet door.

Knock knock. I answer not.
Knock knock. I answer not. "This is the police. Sir we know you are in there,
" the male voice is stern authoritative. "Come out. Now!"
I sit. I panic...I'm lost. My mind
is numb.

Suddenly laughter erupts
from the other side of the door.

I cautiously stand and slowly open the door.
And there before me are all of my co-workers male and female
just a laughing and a laughing
and a laughing.

What's the most exhilarating thing you have done?

Watching my children being born;
writing what my heart tells me to and I nearly forgot ..
jumping off a thirty foot cliff into a meter of powdery snow
and then to keep skiing while listening to the Rolling Stones,
'Sympathy for the Devil' on a walkman..
Ahhh that was good.

What is it about screen writing that gets your fired?

Creating a world that can be different yet the same.

What screenplays have you written?

Chichen
an historical adventure for children.
Sida a murder thriller
set in LA.

What is your favorite pastime?

FAVORITE: WRITING, surfing, WRITING, traveling, WRITING
making my children smile, WRITING, laughing, being alive,
wondering about death

What is your favorite motto?

Mottoes;
always look on the bright side of life, and,
face your fears... walk the fire
