. . .
Why do you live there?
My parents moved here when I was 13 and I've been here ever since.
But I hope to move out and get back to the States (which is where I'm originally
from)
when I get the opportunity.
What is your passion?
Making other people smile and be amazed. That is why I write, because
I feel that my scripts will become movies that will make people feel amazed
and blown away. I love showing people something unique and special and
making them understand its significance. I love teaching people more about
the world they live in.
What is your pride?
My earnestness. I attempt everything whole-heartedly and with an
open-mind.
What is your greatest
fear?
Rejection. I fear being rejected by everyone and everything. I'm
scared that some day someone won't like me or want to know me and that
would be the death of me.
What does adversity do
to you?
Makes me seriously rethink my options and plan a whole new strategy
of tackling things.
What is your best quality?
My open-mindedness. The size of my heart, my ability to be neutral
and judge people equally and fairly. And my ability to improve on other
people's work.
What is your worst quality?
My lack of faith in myself. I have confidence in the work that I
do, but I have no faith in my own ability to do them. I don't take pride
in anything until it is finished and perfected.
What irksome habits do
you have?
I don't eat in the daytime at all, only at night. I cannot do any
work without some kind of background music I never seem to remember to
buy new clothes. I tend to wear my old clothes till they completely disintegrate
before buying something new.
If you could have your
time again, what would you do that is different?
I would've stopped wasting so much of my time wondering what other
people thought of me and I would have just jumped at every first opportunity
that was presented to me.
What would you like to
change about yourself? About others?
More confidence in myself. I would like to show other people the
level of human ignorance and help them identify within themselves that
there is only so much a person can understand and that what is left, unknown
to them, must be treated with respect and learnt in the quickest possible
time.
How important is goal
setting to you?
Terribly important. It's the one thing that keeps me motivated and
aware.
What goals do you have?
To succeed in what I do best - making movies.
What is your ultimate
goal?
Eternal happiness of course :O)
What heroes do you have?
Mahatma Gandhi. James Cameron. Trent Reznor. Gillian Anderson. Martin
Luther King Jr.
What inspires you in
others?
Faith, confidence, the ability to work beyond one's own limits to
achieve their goals.
What inspires you in
yourself?
Strength. Nothing can knock me down. NOTHING. I can feel it in myself,
it's like a spiritual immunity. My body can be fragile and weak, but my
mind and my soul will never give up where others may.
What will be written
on your headstone?
(in tiny print) If you can read this then you're standing on my
head. :O)
What does success mean
to you?
It means proving to myself that I can do all that I think I can.
It means regaining whatever self-confidence I've lost in my life. It mean
showing everyone that I have the power to change things. That I am more
than flesh and bones, that something is alive inside me.
How do you measure success?
By the satisfaction I feel in my life.
What are your pet hates?
Arrogance, ignorance, dogs, people who drink to excess, racism,
know-it-alls, religious fanatics
What are your pet loves?
love, cats, chinese and italian food, friends, people who understand
the meaning of RESPECT
What do you think of
pets?
I love animals devotedly. Animals are so much better than humans
in so many ways. They can love more than humans can love. Animals don't
care if you're white, black, blue, green, fat, thin, tall, short, deformed
or ugly, pretty or gifted. Animals will love you all the same. They have
no prejudice. The love of a pet for its care-taker is completely without
bias. Pets are wonderful.
When are you happiest?
When I'm around people who care about me.
When are you hardest
to please?
When I'm feeling neglected or ignored.
What has been your most
embarrassing moment?
Getting repeatedly down-trousered in gym class when I was little.
I really hated that.
What's the most exhilarating
thing you have done?
Bungee Jumping. What a rush!
What is it about screen
writing that gets your fired?
It's like a kind of magic - the art of story-telling, weaving new
fantastic worlds for people to enter and explore with their minds and hearts.
It's like being a God. Having full control over everything...making everything
JUST perfect, and teaching people something new and exciting.
What screenplays have
you written?
"Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers"
adapted from Jane Jansen's multi-award-winning CD-ROM adventure game.
"Dark Knight" based on Frank Miller's NY Times best-selling graphic novel: BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS
What is your favorite
pastime?
Listening to music. EXCESSIVELY :)))))
What is your favorite
motto?
Love Conquers All (cheesy, but true)
