The story of Oscar Blodgett, a xenolexicographer, who is sent to Mars under a "cloud of mystery" regarding something found by the soldier-explorers. He soon learns he is to translate a 15-million year old language left on the walls of a chamber within the Great Face of Mars monument! One of the best-kept secrets of the past hundred years! What he learns will change his life (and possibly the lives of those on Earth) forever! Of course, he has to get past the heavily armed soldier- explorers (guarding the secret) ...
