'Fortune City'

Fortune City is a Sci-Fi action story that is
a cross between BLADE RUNNER and
MISSION IMPOSSIBLE.

While investigating the murder of a cyber-bookie, PHILIP RONIK,
a detective with the Vegas PD, discovers a link between the mob
and a high-tech corporation that are involved in fixing
the playoff finals of a basketball
championship.

Adding to the economic significance of the fix
is that in the future the champion of the NLBS
(National League of Basketball States) determines who
runs the government for
a one-year term.

So, Ronik is in a race against time
and must weed through all the murder and corruption
to find out who masterminded the fix before the last game is played,
and the final fix is in, which will change the face
of the economic world.
