'Everyday People'

"Everyday People" is a film noir/thriller
in which a night of drinking turns ugly when two couples
find their lives in jeopardy after one of the women shoots
a stranger she's picked up in the bar.

She convinces the others to help her cover up the shooting
by dumping his body and his car in a reservoir.

Later that night the other woman returns to the reservoir
to search for an engraved watch she thinks she lost there.
She dives into the water to look and discovers
the man's body is no longer there.
