'Shitstorm'
by Douglas Knox
. . .
An ultr-violent look at Los Angeles,
1954. A homicide detective uncovers
a heroin ring
that involves prominant members
of the city's Latino community
while investigating a mass murder.
He becomes involved with the
aunt of a rape/murder victim.
Between the outrage over the
corruption and the furor caused by
his relationship with the lovely
Latina girl, the city comes close to riot.
Lives are scrificed to avoid
the city's destruction and
the players involved will never
be the same again.
Comments
Very James Ellroy / LA Confidential.
Not for the faint of heart.
