. . .
After their prison transport
van crashes on a deserted country road,
three convicts escape and force their way
into the nearest house.
They take the residents
-- father, mother, teenaged daughter --
hostage.
But they have not come
here by accident:
the escape was orchestrated by the daughter, who has been
corresponding with each of
the three criminals.
As the evening unfolds,
the daughter becomes the warden, the convicts her guards
and her notentirely guiltless parents the prisoners,
all locked down in the ultimate maximum security prison:
the family home.
