A simple man helps Jesus Christ on His way to Calvary to be crucified and is blessed with immortality ... and a mission: to help people from average walks of life rediscover hope and, thus, create a "ripple of hope" for all humanity. The only catch? Once this immortal has "been drawn" to a person needing his help, he only has three days to restore hope for them. Otherwise, on the third day, he dies a rapid death. To further complicate matters, in present day Los Angeles his subject is an exotic dancer/law student. Plus, for the first time in two thousand years, he is feeling the "pangs of love". No one ever said being immortal was easy.
