'One of Those Days'

This is the day that
Henry Meade has waited
his whole life for.

On this day he will
map out his future by earning a great promotion at his job,
buying his first home with an advance from the promotion and
proposing marriage to his upper class girlfriend
in front of her elitist parents.

Unfortunately for Henry,
this most important day in his life coincides with one of those ill fated days which we all have when everything
goes wrong.

Before long,
this mild-mannered business man loses most of his sanity,
ends up in jail and finally, desperately, tries to save
what little of his life this one day
has not destroyed.

However,
he will need the help of his best friend,
a friendly prostitute and her outgoing pimp to do so,
and in the process may lose more of his dignity
than he saves.

Comments

This screenplay is a combination of
Blind Date and Vacation.

I am currently looking for an agent,
and have three completed screenplays and a
comedy sitcom pilot.

The screenplays include two dramatic comedies
and this straight ahead
comedy.
