'Swimming in a Sea of Retarded Suxuality'

Danny, a young,
sometimes too vibrant teen,
loses his girlfriend, Claire, to an unknown
secret admirer.

His friends, B.J. and Matthew, try to help him
overcome the loss of his popular girlfriend
by hooking him up with a new woman, (Though, in reality,
Danny was only using Claire to become
a powerful member of SGA).

Everything is fine until Danny finds out
that Claire's new love interest is none other than his friend, B.J.
B.J is taken aback with this new and very complicated development.

As Claire becomes increasingly forceful
in her attempts to make B.J. her man, B.J. becomes more
and more frightened. Matthew has an even bigger problem than poor old B.J; Seems that Matthew wants to date up and coming movie starlet, Christina Ricci. Matthew will stop at nothing to proclaim his love to the
beautiful and talented actress.

The film's resolution comes about
as Danny comes to grips with his new relationship
and decides to let Claire do whatever she wants. His decision
is partially swayed by the fact that his new girlfriend's father
is a prominent national politician.

B.J., just as he finally gets rid of Claire's badgering,
realizes that he misses her attention and he needs her love.
Our final glimpse of Matthew reveals him departing for L.A.
for a rendezvous with love. Or a reasonable
Hollywood facsimile anyway.

Throughout the film a mutual friend of all the characters, Bart,
is used as a segue after he kills two speed walkers while trying to pick up
some "chicks." He is last seen escaping to that great country of Argentina
while Matthew is boarding
the plane to LA.
