'Little Redd Ryden in the
`Hood'
by Ginny Fleming
. . .
A Christmas comedy in the vein
of
"It's a Wonderful Life".
A spoiled grownup childstar
arrives in Louisville Kentucky
to promote
the Derby.
Landing behind bars for shoplifting,
Redd finds herself friendless
and lonely at a time when
even poor people find the reason
for the season.
Sentenced to community service
at The Farnsley House,
a struggling neighborhood charity
run by local do-gooder Danny Goode,
Redd rebels.
Goode sees Redd for a spoiled
brat
with no true concept of the
Christmas Spirit.
Will Redd complete her community
service?
Will Danny Goode be able to
provide Christmas dinner for his "people"?
With the aid of an unusual band
of Christmas angels;
a leather-dressed gang of (dead)
Hell's Angels,
Redd is shown the true meaning
of Christmas.
A modern feel-good Christmas
story;
sure to become a holiday classic.
Added bonus:
it's low budget!
