FBI Special Agent Benjamin
Zanti
signs on for the ride of his life when a not-so-obscure
kidnap and murder case
lands in his
case file.
Dallas, Texas is blind-sided
by a heatwave
and an even more menacing terror that comes to be known as
the "Dallas Disemboweller"
killing spree!
When Zanti receives a
kidney
(taken from the body of one of the victims) in the mail,
he soon finds himself in the eye of
the greatest media-storm
in history.
The kidney is accompanied
by a note written in a good
schoolboy-hand.
The note opens with the
heading:
"DEAR BOSS" and closes with the unnerving signature
"Yours Truly, Jack The Ripper."
As Zanti closes in on
his prey,
his prey seems to be closing in on him. His every move is under the microscope
and as the body-count and the temperature rises,
all Zanti can do is say a prayer to...
Dear Boss.
